We have created a small business package suitable for most businesses who are either starting out or want to upgrade their current website.

This small business package includes all the elements needed to make a professional website.
We develop our websites in WordPress, which allows you to edit and update your own website!

Small Business Website Package – from $1200

 

Design

We will provide you with 3 or 4 themes to choose from for the look of your website.  You can send us links to websites you like the look of, and we can use these websites as a guide to design your site. We are definitely open to any design ideas you have.

Additional revisions will be charged at the hourly rate of $90.
Content will be added once the design is confirmed.

 

Pages

We will add up to 15 pages for you including your content. You can add unlimited pages in WordPress.

Adding pages is easy and we will show you how, so you can add more pages as you wish.

We can provide content writers for you if you need assistance in writing content.

 

A few tips for writing content!

Try to give your customers something for free that is worth value – like some “free tips” or “free advice” in your area of expertise. This can be a great way to attract more visitors to your site.

Blogging regularly also has great advantages for your visitors.  The search engines also like fresh content, as long as it’s great relevant content that is worth while reading!!

 

Hosting

Hosting is paid yearly, we pay the first year, and then after the first year we can renew this for you at $100 per year.
We use only Australian hosting companies and NOT overseas.  This ensures, quick support  and that problems are fixed quickly. This is very important for your business.
Our hosting companies support WordPress and help keep your website speedy.

Domain Name

Domain name (com.au) will need to renewed every 2 years.  We can renew this for you at a rate of $30 for 2 years.
Some clients may have a domain name already.

 

Text

We will add all the content for you!  You MUST supply us with all your written content in a Word document.  All content must be proof read by you (the client) before submitting to us.

We allow several small revisions to text or images in this package, any further revisions will be charged at the hourly rate of $90.
You will be able to do your own revisions yourself once the website is finished.

 

Images

Our website small business package includes 8 stock images for your website.  These images will be suitable to the nature of your business. We will also edit these images and add them to your website.

You will need to supply us with any additional images required for your website.

If your require a logo we have our own graphic designer who can create you a professional logo for an additional fee.

 

Where to find images for my website?

You can search for free image in Google.  If not there are lots of websites now that supply free images.  You will need to create an account with most of the following websites to access the free images.

Forms

We will add a simple contact form for you to capture your visitors details. We will also add another form for you if required for e.g. a booking form or feedback form.

 

Email Address

We can set up 3-5 custom emails for your with your domain name extension.
For e.g. info@yourwebsitename.com.au

We will provide you with all the credentials to set these emails up in your own email client like Mac Mail or Outlook.

If you wish to set up more, then we can do this for an hourly rate of $90.
Otherwise we can instruct you how to set up more emails via CPanel.

 

Google Map

We can set up a Google map usually in the footer on your site or on the contact page.
This is good for your visitors to see exactly where your business is located. It also helps the search engines rank you locally.

 

Social Media

We can add several social media icons to your website like Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter or YouTube.
You will need to have these accounts set up prior, we will need your username for these profiles and in some cases the API key.
We will also set up the Social Media Share option, so you and your readers can easily share your content.

 

Security and Spam Control

We set up security on your site to keep it safe from potential hackers.  We also install spam control, to make sure you don’t get inundated with spam.

 

Google Friendly Home Page

We make sure you home page is Google friendly by adding your core keyword phrase to this page in the places where Google looks for it.
This will ensure you home page gets ranked in Google appropriately.

 

Skype Training

We provide all our website clients with some basic training via Skype, so you have the option to do simple updates including:

  • How to add a page
  • How to add text
  • How to update text
  • How to insert, update or delete an image
  • How to add a post to the blog
  • How to add an image to a post

We can offer more website training depending on what the client actually wants to be able to update themselves.
We also offer one-on-one WordPress training and phone training at a rate of $90 per hour.

 

What software do we use?

We use WordPress because it is a versatile content management system and very easy for YOU to update and manage.
WordPress will allow you to have more control over your website, including updating and maintaining it.

We can manage and update your website ongoing for $90 per hour.

 

Website Maintenance and Updates

  • We build our websites in WordPress which will need to be updated several times a year
  • These updates can be completed by the client at their own risk
  • We install a security system on your website that will remind you of these updates
  • Updates are crucial for the security of your website
  • If you would like us to manage the updates for you, we charge $85 per update
  • Usually WordPress updates occur 3-4 times per year
  • This fee also includes a full backup of your website and database, updating plugins and basic theme updates

Payment Options

With the small business website package, we require a deposit of 30% up front for all clients.

We also require progress payments whilst building your website.
