Do I have to provide anything?
  • Any keyword ideas you have.
  • The login details for your website. This is a MUST we cannot complete the training without your login details.
  • The login details for your hosting (usually Cpanel).
  • FTP details (very important). This is a MUST we cannot complete the training without your FTP login details.
  • Google login if you have one. If you do not have a Google account, we can create one in the training.
  • An active email address that can be accessed from your computer or ours.
  • Your laptop (if you don’t have one we can supply one).
  • Wifi is supplied (make sure your computer connects to wifi).
  • Pen and paper to write notes.

What is a search engine?
  • In layman’s terms, a Search Engine is like a library.
  • You search for information about a particular topic.

Yes, we can, depending on how far you are from the CBD.

You may need to pay a travel fee of $80-$100.

If you are located in the upper Northern Beaches we can travel to your home or office for free. E.g. Mosman to Deehwhy. After Deewhy we would need to charge an $80 travel fee.

How long is the course?

This short course is 3-hours in total. If you need more time, we can book in another session at a later date. But most clients are content with what they have learned in the 3 hours and have enough work to go away with and complete.

Do you offer an online SEO course?

We offer online training, via Skype for people, who work full-time and cannot attend face to face training.
Skype training is available after hours. E.g Saturdays and weeknights. Enquire here.

How many people can do the training?

This is a 1 on 1 SEO training course.
Therefore only you and the trainer. We do allow one other person from the same business to sit in.
We focus only on your website.

How long does is take to see results?

SEO does NOT happen overnight.
It takes time and effort to add and improve SEO on your site.
If you follow our suggestions, you should see results within 3-6 months.
It will also depend on how much competition you have.
But we can give you strategies on how to get on the first page of Google even in a competitive market.

Do you offer after-course support?

We offer support at affordable rates for people who book this training to help them build and maintain their SEO ongoing.

Do you offer weekend training?

Yes on Saturdays only. It will cost $400 for 3 hours.

How does this SEO course work?

The first step

The first thing we do is analyse your website with our SEO checklist. As a result, this will tell us what needs fixing immediately. Time permitting, we can usually fix minor issues in the workshop. Then, if you use WordPress we will install and set up a popular SEO plugin to guide you step by step.

In an addition

We will show you how to research the best keywords with some free tools, and where to add these in your pages. Including the meta title and description. Then, we demonstrate how to format not only SEO friendly content but user-friendly content.

Step 1 - Create a user friendly website

These are many factors that make a professional website. In our SEO course, we will discuss this in more detail.

But you can start thinking about these questions.

  • Do you have a user-friendly design and layout?
  • Is your page content formatted in a way that the users can understand? Is it scannable for easy reading?
  • Is your website mobile responsive? Meaning, it looks good on all mobile devices.
  • Is your main navigation logical and easy to follow? Are all your important pages in the main menu?
  • Are your pages all interlinking? Meaning if a user is on one page, can they get to another relevant service easily? Or do they have to go searching?
  • Do you have unique, well-written copy [text]? Not copied from any other website?
  • Have you included images and videos to make the site visually appealing?
  • Do you have sidebar content so users can find content easily? For e.g. recent posts and reviews.
  • Have you added important content for your footer? For e.g. Social Media, legal pages, business awards or customer guarantees.
